Schoolhouse Studios is a not-for-profit arts organization that supports local artists with studio spaces, a gallery, event space, and a bar. Their focus on community, diversity, and creative collaboration inspired an inclusive and playful branding strategy. This direction reflects a sense of fun and interactivity, drawing inspiration from childhood play to invite engagement and artistic freedom.
The modular logo, informed by the shapes of building blocks, represents a house open for exploration and creativity, aligning with the proposed tagline, "Cultivate, Create, Connect."
Visual elements & illustrations draw inspiration from the simplicity and creativity of a coloring book. When printed, designers and the community are encouraged to color them in, turning each piece into a shared creative experience. It’s a celebration of Schoolhouse Studios’ belief in collective expression, where everyone contributes to the final piece.
